Genius Creatine Powder, the full review.

I think everybody that is in the fitness / bodybuilding branch, either if you’re new or already are in it for a long while, you certainly know about creatine, and the benefits of creatine.

The only thing that is different is the way the creatine is made, and used in the product.

Also, what I already mentioned in a previous post is that every body has a different reaction towards it. Some works, some doesn’t.

Now, I was quite curious about this product because I was seeing it got lots of very positive feedback, so I decided to try it out and see if it was better than the one I was using ( it was a good one however, not totally satisfied).

So after it was delivered at home, I started to use it.

First of all, the ingredients.

The product is made from Creapure Creatine Monohydrate, Beta Alanine, Creatine HCL, Creatine Magnapower and Astragin.

Now, lets see what the different kinds of ingredients do to make your body in a very good shape.

Creapure Creatine Monohydrate:

Creatine has some very good benefits, such as:

  • Faster recovery ( higher rate of recovery)
  • Increased blood and nutrient flow to the muscles.

Beta Alanine:
Beta Alanine has a very good, unique strenght-enhancing property, which means you can do more reps, and you’re building your muscles much faster because of that.

Creatine Hydrochloride ( HCI):
Prevents water retention, which means you have weight loss but you increase muscles, so you become “shredded” very good!

Creatine Magnapower:

This is a very high end quality ingredient, this is creatine with magnesium, which allows you to put heavier weights, more energy in the lifting, and it is proven in lots of sports: football, power lifting, sprinting and many other sports.

Astragin:
Is an absorption enhancing ingredient that supports amino acid, vitamin and mineral absorption, which includes creatine, beta alanine and magnesium. It supports the absorption of the health promotion nutrients.

So, as you can see, the product is of a very high quality!
Normally I don’t buy things from a non-bodybuilding / fitness website, but for this case I did, and it was one of the best choices I made!

It is not a pre workout but a post workout.

But that is even better, because creatine works much better in a post workout than a pre workout!

To know that your muscles actually need the creatine after the training, because your fibers are damaged ( that is a normal process, else you couldn’t get more and bigger muscles), they need all kind of ingredients, and creatine is one of them!

So with this product, you not only have the so much-needed creatine, but it is also made in that kind of advanced way, that is has top of the art ingredients that lets you recover much faster and also prevents or at least reduces major injuries, and also the chance of minor injuries is reduced with a high percentage!

It has a difference between this and other post workouts:
With other post workouts, I had a feeling that I was feeling empty, or I had a very big stomach, that I couldn’t take anything else anymore without getting nausea, or it had to many calories, and I never had the feeling with this one!

When to take it.

It is recommended to take it immediately after the training to pump it directly into the open blood vessels of your muscles, so it has no chance of breaking down and it can already recover and grow!

Directions:
You mix 1 scoop of Genius Creatine Powder in 8 Oz. of water

Something to be careful with.

Creatine is a water absorping ingredient, so it is very advised for your health and kidneys to at least drink 2 liter and a half of water to keep your body healthy and undamaged!

What can happen is when you drink to less water when taking creatine is that you can have kidney failure, your muscles starts to break down, since your cells needs water, you can have urinal problems.

There is no problem if you drink enough water and also if you keep the dose, and don’t exceed it!
You can also stack this product with:

  • Genius Protein
  • Genius BCAA
  • Genius L-Arginine (for increased blood flow)
  • Genius Joy ( is for more focus, and cognitive function)
  • Genius Test ( like the name say, it is actually a testosterone booster with validated ingredients)

With the whole stack you can be expecting very good results!

But don’t forget:

Even with all the products you have at your side, it is up to you to make sure the product(s) can unleash all their abilities in your body, so that means, training, the healthy and right food for the training, and of course, you need to rest very good, even with the impressive results and effects of the genius series, you’ll still have to rest, to let your muscles recover!

So the conclusion sounds..:

This is absolutely the best buy I’ve ever done, and many people will agree with me, the effects are almost immediately noticeable, you don’t have a hard stomach with it, and the results come very quick.

Just don’t forget to use the dose and don’t exceed it and also drink enough water, then there is not any problem.

So, because of the big pro’s, and only the slightly con, I rate this product with a 9.6 out of a 10!
Also, the price / quality is very good, the product isn’t to expensive for what it gives you, there are many other things on the market that are true, let me say, placebo like products.

The price on Amazon is $29,95 for a container, you can buy the stack with the Genius Pre and Genius BCAA for only $ 104.93! This is an amazing deal, so don’t miss it, and the price goes up!

It would be very nice to see reviews of the product here in the comments below, so feel free to add them, or if there’s any question about the product, feel free to ask me, I will answer on all of them.

Emmanuel

Great review. I do work out a lot and did try creatine as well but didn’t see huge results. Any idea?

You need to try some other creatines before seeing a result, it is possible that it didn’t work and also that you had a crap one. Also remember that creatine as a post workout has a better effect!

Hi Emmanuel, do you know if creatine has all the effects on post workout or pre workout as has been claimed. I can’t seem to find anyone who seems to have a definitive answer.
I’m asking because as you know this industry is filled with a lot of supplements we don’t need. thanks for this in depth review!

Hi Vivek, the good thing is that I tried lots of creatine as pre and post workouts. Not all of them works, actually, most of them are crap and a waste of money. There are a few jewels out of there and it works, like this one. But you need to have a consistent time of training, rest and food. Also, remember to drink lots of water and NO beer, beer and creatine don’t work together.. no matter how good the creatine is. So yes.. it works, but only a few ones, and also, you need to try a few to see how your body reacts on it.

      Kind regards, Emmanuel

Good review. How long can you use Creatine without taking a break? Will you suggest taking a break after some time or is it safe to just keep using it?

    • Emmanuel Buysse May 15, 2018 at 6:54 pm

Creatine in long-term is harmless, however, the bad thing about is that your body is getting used to it after 4-6 weeks, and all you would need to do is adding more and more.. which would harm your body, especially your kidneys. So my advise is: after 6 weeks, stop for 4 weeks, and you can use it again.

      Kind regards, Emmanuel

Such great information! I workout at least 5 times a week and I have never taken creatine powder because I was never really knowledgeable about it! U have taken a couple pre-workouts and they will make me feel nauseated during my workout, I like that I can enjoy this after and still get the results!

Thank you for breaking down the benefits, when to take it, and how much to take of the powder. How do you feel about the Genius protein?

      Hi Delanee,
It is great to hear you perform lots of workouts a week!
About the creatine, yes, it has lots of benefits, and you have some supolements with the bloating effects, which you don’t have with this one.

I’m satisfied with the product, it is one of the best ones out there, and you will surely see the results!

Hello, I don’t do bodybuilding but you seem to know lots about supplements so I hope you don’t mind me asking. What do you recommend for someone who doesn’t do workouts (only light exercise) but wants to safely increase protein intake? I know that I don’t get enough protein and need a bit extra. Thanks in advance.

Cool review! Can it be dangerous to use creatine if you play a sport that drains a lot of water such as soccer or is it safe to use the product?

    Reply
    • Emmanuel Buysse July 9, 2018 at 12:44 pm

      Hi Oscar,
Creatine is only dangerous if you don’t drink enough of water, so even when performing sports which drains lots of water, if you’re drinking to compensate it, there is no risk.

Perhaps it’s time to pick up those weights again….

A great write up.  It’s nice to see Beta Alanine included within this product.

I love the fact you have shown it’s best to take after training, as many people assume you should take it before.

Also great that you have advised on drinking plenty of water when using this product.  Again too many people ignore this side of things.

      Hi David,

This is indeed best to take after the workout, it is still a big miss to think it is the best before the workout. Now, indeed, water is essential when using creatine to prevent problems, like kidney stones or liver issues.

The Genius Creatine is available worldwide, so also the in the UK.

How long will I take creatine before it starts to have negative consequences? Or will there be none? Do I just buy and start using without any consultations? What dosage will I take? This will be my first time using any product in this category and I don’t really feel comfortable, even though your product review is very reassuring.

By the way, how many bottles of creatine is it recommended to take in a year?

    Reply
    • Emmanuel Buysse October 6, 2018 at 8:11 pm

      Hi Alieh,

Let us say that I suggest to take creatine not longer than 6 weeks in a row, because your body will get adapted, and you would need to use more and more creatine.

The side effects of that would be: more water retention, so you need to drink more, but because of that, your kidneys gets more stressed, your liver has more work, and in the end it could be very, very dangerous, since they could fail.

I suggest to take it 6 weeks, and leave it for a month, to get the remaining creatine out of your body, and your body will see it as a new dose, and thus, growing like it would be the very first day ever.

About the amount of bottles, I never count them, but if you stick with the 6 weeks creatine/ 4 weeks off, you will be fine.

Just don’t forget, drink 2 liters of water EVERY DAY!

Fantastic review. I have always been using a creatine preworkout. I didn’t think it was better to use one after. Buy using this product for after your work out do you have any recommendations for your preworkout? This creatine product sounds like it really packs a punch and I will be switching to this and giving it a try. There’s a lot of creatine products out there and they really don’t deliver. I feel that magnesium is huge as I like to lift weights and that alone is huge that it has the magnapower added to it. I’m really excited I came across this review and can’t wait to give it a try.

Many people are getting misleaded by the commercial things the brand puts, such as: Become a beast with this and so, we do our best to see if it is true or not.

In many cases the product works, but not always and alsonnot as good as they say.

Hi, Emmanuel. I didn’t think for one moment I would come across a Creatine review! Why does Creatine help with the body to recover? I don’t fully understand that. Is Creatine OK for men over 60? Whenever I do exercises, though I’m not as active as I used to be, my body does ache afterwards for the rest of the day. I guess I’m doing too much for my old body?

      Hi Paul,

Creatine helps in the way it promotes protein tissue and fiber grow, which means your muscles will grow and increase because of that.

This being said, it is never to late or you never are to old to take it, but be careful with the dosage then.

And also, you need to feel your body, if it says enough, it is enough.

Hopefully The Genius Creatine can help you!

      Hi Alieh.

I always answer, but sometimes it could take a while, since i’m testing new products with the crew, and it takes some time, because we want to have honest reviews, so you know what is good and what not.

I hope my previous answer about your question has been satisfied.

Don’t take it longer than 6 weeks, because it could be dangerous.

Creatine is something not to be taken lightly, it is still a serious ingredient/supplement, so drink enough, don’t overdose it, and you will be fine.

Hi! Great post! I think it is super important to have posts like yours which help educate people about products that can have a potentially serious impact on our health. Well done! Are you taking the whole stack of additional Genius products as well, and if not, is there one from the stack you would recommend over the others?

    Thanks!

      Hi Norman,

The suggestion is you take the Genius stack, but you don’t have to.

I already made more reviews, and the fact is that if you find compatible supplements, the brand doesn’t matter.

It is a very good supplement, this creatine is of a high-quality level, which will aid you very well!
